Tightrope to Sanity

This image series, "Tightrope to Sanity" is a whimsically disproportionate and surreal recall of a seemingly ordinary moment— I wanted to revisit the bliss in receiving a modest $5 bill from my father and our tradition of sharing a snicker pie on our mall visits. This is a moment that can only be imagined through the novelty of a child's eye. I intended to return to my innocence in this production. 

In adulthood we endure the grief and loss of our loved ones. This image series takes us back to unadulterated joy and revitalized effervescence. Unjaded. “Tightrope to Sanity” pays homage to my journey deeply searching for sanity within my grief by revisiting this memory, slowly returning to who I am, and who I have always been.
